Wesley Osoro — New Works

Wesley Osoro’s latest collection brings together seven powerful paintings that reflect the everyday lives, dreams, and quiet resilience of young schoolchildren in Kibera, Nairobi. Through titles such as In Prayer, Rainmaker, Twin Sisters, From School, Nurturing Bond, Girls Parade, and Girls Talk, Osoro captures intimate moments of childhood shaped by community, friendship, faith, and aspiration. Each work offers a glimpse into the hopes of children growing up in one of Kenya’s most underserved areas—children who carry big dreams despite limited resources. Osoro’s expressive brushwork and vibrant colour celebrate their determination and the belief that every child deserves a future filled with possibility.

This new series affirms a central message: hope thrives even in the most challenging environments, and a child’s background does not define their destiny.
