These exquisite textiles were traditionally assembled for ceremonial attire, used to cover royal stools, and even served as a form of currency, a symbols of prestige, they were often laid to rest with kings or those fortunate enough to possess a collection. The pattern consists of simple shapes like diamonds, zigzags, and lines in earthy tones of brown, beige, and subtle green.
