This visually arresting ceremonial fly whisk takes the form of a lizard—an enduring symbol of adaptability and spiritual connection in Yoruba cosmology. It is richly adorned with colorful glass beadwork and fibre, while bronze bells add auditory texture. One side features a striking yellow beaded panel centered with a diamond-shaped red and white motif, an emblem often associated with unity, continuity, and the cycle of life. Both sculptural and symbolic, the whisk evokes leadership, tradition, and exceptional craftsmanship.
